How to find us
The woodland is situated 6 miles south east of Thirsk in between Bagby and Kilburn. We use the quieter side accessed from the small car park between Balk (the village after Bagby) and Kilburn. Do not go to the car park at the White Horse! The nearest postcode is YO7 2AW but do not rely on this to get you to the site. Please see directions below.
From Bagby: Follow the road to Balk, continue through Balk past a sign on the right for Osgoodby Fishing, continue past white houses on left, continue uphill until you see an opening in the trees on the left. This is the car park(the car park is 1.5 miles from Balk). On the day there will be a YFF sign opposite the car park.
From Kilburn: Take the road out of Kilburn signposted ‘Bagby’, follow the road for 1 mile and you will see an opening in the trees on the right, this is the car park. On the day there will be a YFF sign opposite the car park.
